Our facilities

Café

There is a café selling hot and cold beverages, fruit and snacks on the ground floor of the Dental Hospital.

The café is open between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Cash point

There is a cash point on the wall of the Medical College Student Union building, in Stepney Way.

Toilets

Male, female and disabled toilets, and baby changing facilities are available on each floor for patients and visitors.

Lifts

Lifts are available to all clinics in the Dental Hospital.

Disabled access

The entrance to the Dental Hospital is via the ground floor main entrance which is accessible by wheel chair. All floors can be reached using the lifts.

There is a drop off point directly outside of the Dental Hospital building, which can be accessed from Whitechapel Road. There is also a limited number of blue badge parking bays at the entrance.

Shops

There is a shop at Junction 5 which sells food, drinks and newspapers to visitors. The opening hours are:

Monday – Friday – 7am-10pm
Saturday and Sunday – 9am-1.30pm

There is also a shop in the main outpatients area open between Monday to Friday from 7.30am-5.30pm.

Cash point

A cash machine is located in the hospital restaurant at Junction 5.

Restaurant and coffee shop

Some wards have drink-dispensing machines or vending machines that visitors can pay to use.

The hospital restaurant provides a range of food, snacks and hot and cold drinks to visitors. It is open daily from 7am-7pm and is located between junctions 4 and 5 off the main corridor, in the red zone.

There is also a Costa located next to the restaurant. It is open Monday to Friday from 7am-7pm.
